OUR STORY
Born and raised during war, and now an immigrant and Canadian citizen, Youmna brings a lived understanding of adjustment, identity, and resilience into every session. She is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), providing therapy to clients in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Alongside a background in psychology and publicity studied in Lebanon, she’s built a practice around the belief that your culture and story aren’t separate from healing; they’re part of it. Outside of sessions, she’s a mother of two, married more than a decade, someone who travels often and has called many places home, and who finds calm in the kitchen as much as in conversation.
Our philosophy
We’re not here to direct your journey, we’re here to walk alongside it, listening first.
A label doesn’t define you. We focus on who you are, not what you’ve been called.
You know your own life best. We work with you rather than telling you what to do.
Talk therapy and real conversation, not worksheets or rigid frameworks.
Your culture and lived experience aren’t set aside in session, they’re part of the conversation.
